At CES 2024, we got the chance to check out XGIMI’s latest innovations in home entertainment. Their convention floor booth showcased both their newest projection technologies as well as two new headliner products. One product received CES 2024 Innovation Awards Honoree recognition while the other looks to bring an IMAX Enhanced Certified display to your home for under $3000. Let’s take a look at what XGIMI had on display.
XGIMI Aladdin – CES 2024 Innovation Awards Honoree
First, we saw a CES 2024 Innovation Awards Honoree in the form of the XGIMI Aladdin projector. Aiming to be the centerpiece of any room, the Aladdin is a feature-rich projector, with a ceiling lamp and a 360-degree Harman Kardon smart speaker. This all-in-one projector delivers a cinematic experience of up to 100 inches directly from the ceiling, at a 0.7:1 projection ratio. Requiring only the same amount of effort in installing a standard ceiling lamp, the Aladdin combats the need for extensive ceiling installations and illuminates your room in a stylish form factor.
This all-in-one entertainment system offers lighting with customizable warmth levels, dynamic wallpapers, interactive children’s books, and ambient sounds for sleep. The Aladdin is set to launch in Japan in June 2024, while we hope to see it also released in the states.

Diving into image quality, this projector uses XGIMI’s latest Dual Light 2.0 technology to achieve that IMAX Enhanced Certified and Dolby Vision display. Thanks to an integrated Triple laser and a phosphor light, the projector is able to feature an ultra-wide color gamut of 110% BT.2020. Through this Dual Light technology, this projector’s display is not only highly color accurate, but also comfortable for the viewer’s eyes. The HORIZON Max can reach a brightness of up to 3,100 ISO lumens and achieves a 2000:1 native contrast ratio.
We got to see exactly how impressive an IMAX Enhanced Certified display can be at XGIMI’s convention floor booth. Before the introduction of the HORIZON Max, IMAX Enhanced certification was only exclusive to professional projectors priced over $10,000. However, the HORIZON Max was able to achieve this level of visual quality at an unconfirmed price point under $3,000. The XGIMI HORIZON Max looks to be one of the most impressive, yet accessible home projectors yet. As such, we will be sure to keep tabs on this product’s release!
