The LG BP620 is a Smart 3D Blu-ray player, what that means is that the device is a full-fledged blu-ray player that has smart TV capabilities. Technically this acts as a smart TV upgrader for your older HDTVs . The BP620 is a slim and light blu-ray player that comes packed in with built-in Wi-Fi and LG’s smart TV hub that gives the user the ability to connect to the web to browser LG app catalog and view content on Netflix, HULU, YouTube and more. Some of the features of the BP 620 included a built-in Blu-ray and 3D blu-ray player, that also upscales DVD’s to HD quality content. Functionality

In terms of Blur-ray and movie playback, the BP620 from LG does an excellent job, as well as streaming content. The DLNA capabilities of the are on-par with other LG products, meaning it works very well. What isn’t so great is the LG app store still isn’t fully stocked with note worthy apps and the load time when moving from hub to hub or using online services such as Netflix. Still for the price at $149 or less on amazon, it is a very good 3D blu-ray player with solid DLNA functionality and best of all easy to use.
