Verizon Droid Turbo Review
The Droid Turbo is a carrier specific device, that just skimp out on the full layer of specs, Exclusive to Verizon Wireless. The Droid Turbo is packed with everything and the kitchen sink into the device. Starting off with the most powerful Qualcomm processor, the quad-core 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 under its hood, DROID Turbo is a beast when it comes to multitasking and keeping up with all you activities. The Droid Turbo also sports a 5.2 inch QHD display, which is vibrant sharp and dare I say the best I have seen this year.
One of the main talking point on the Droid Turbo is its battery, the device packs a 3,900 mAh battery which in our use gave us about 1day and 10 hrs on heavy use. So most users should get slightly more than that. Yes its not the advertised 48hrs Motorola and Verizon were promising but I am glad we are now complain about not having 48 hr battery life. I do think the update t0 Android 5.0 which is guaranteed by Motorola should boost battery performance.
Droid Turbo 4K Camera Sample
The Droid Turbo packs a 21MP camera that has the ability to record in Slow-mo at 720p, regular 1080p video and of course 4K video. with its new camera the Droid Turbo really packs a punch and does delivers some stunning photos and solid video performance. Low light photography is where the Droid Turbo need an improvement. Though we are happy to see Motorola step up its camera game, over the last couple of devices
The Droid Turbo also packs more features like turbo charging, which allows you to get 8 hrs of battery life with a quick 15min charge; plus you also have built in wireless charging . Also the device is water and dust resistant. back with all the Moto features found in the Moto X i.e Moto Asisst, Moto Action, Moto voice and Moto Display.
Overall the Droid Turbo is an all around solid device that I can find few faults with, priced well at $199 for 32GB & $249 for 64GB, packed with all the specs you want and need. The Droid Turbo is the one of the best smartphones I have seen this year.
