Logitech UE BoomBox Review- Sound of Summer
Logitech UE Boom line of audio products do come with a pedigree that should come over as no surprise. The THE UE Boombox is built to provide you that old school boombox feel with modern technology and some really awesome sound. Quite simply, its designed to kick some audio butt; and it does. The UE Boom box comes with two 0.5″tweeters, two 3′ subwoofers, and 4 2 5/8 radiator making a total of 8 drivers in the system. This is all powered by a built-in battery that gives about 6hr battery life, which is a disappointment for such an awesome piece of audio hardware. Compared to the UE boom which gives you up to 20hrs of battery life. But the difference in sound output from both is like night and day, yes the UE Boom really fills the room with sound. The UE Boombox lets everyone know there is a party down the street. It isn’t just loud. It is crisp and clear, packing a punch in bass that will make you want to get up and dance. I used this at a cookout and man I can tell you people just wanted to dance. Plus its portability really takes you back to the days of cassette boomboxes, but without the hassle of rewinding tape and the comfort of Bluetooth technology. In all I was and still am highly impressed with the UE BoomBox, it pretty much is the best portable speaker I have used, ye sits priced at $249 but the sound quality you get is second to none and though its got a shorter battery life.. it got a quick recharge cycle and serious you really have to listen to the UE Boombox to admire how well it sounds. Summer isn’t over yet, so if you are looking for a portable speaker system, then the UE Boombox is what you need.
