Acer Iconia Tab 8 Review

SAMSUNG CSC[ad#ad-1]

The Acer Iconia Tab 8 is a very interesting  Android Tablet, powered by Intel’s baytrail quad-core  processor with 2GB of ram. Yes and x86 processor in an Android Tablet; and it handles great.. The Tab 8 is an Android tablet running KitKat, and packing a super-bright IPS screen with a Full HD resolution @1900×1200.  The Tab 8 uses Intel’s Z3745 quad-core Atom processors, part of the company’s Bay Trail series, running at 1.86GHz. There’s 2GB of RAM and it comes two fflavorsof storage: 16GB or 32GB. Acer has also included its Touch WakeApp feature on the Tab 8. When the screen is off, touch five fingers to the screen and you’ll automatically open the app of your choosing. The same function can be set up for two thumbs as well.

What I i liked with my experience using the Iconia Tab 8  was the lack of glitch or slow downs, running a close to stock version of Android 4.4.2 helps in making sure this tablet handles excellently without any issues. Battery life is rated at 7.3 hours, but I was able to get up to 9hrs on the devices. Gaming also wasn’t an issues with enough processing power, ram and storage. What was a bummer were the speakers and the camera on the tablet. Still at the $150- $200 price point. this is a solid table to get.
