Verizon Nokia Lumia 822 Review- Nokia is back on Big Red

[ad#ad-1]Its Finally good to see Nokia back in the saddles with Verizon Wireless, The Nokia Lumia 822 is a fresh jumping point for the Lumia brand as well as Nokia and Windows Phone as a whole. The Nokia Lumia 822 delivers high-end features in a compact package, including an 8MP camera with industry leading optics from Carl Zeiss, alongside a 1.2MP HD front-facing camera for crystal clear video calls. It also carries the same 1.5Ghz dual-core processor with 1GB of ram. In terms of Storage, you have also got 16GB of storage with a microSD slot for added memory. The Nokia Lumia 822 also features an exchangeable shell design, sold separately, which supports wireless charging. The Lumia 822 is also a 4G LTE device, which means you will get the same super fast 4G LTE speeds you are used to on the Verizon Network. On other key feature to which we will spend some time with is Data Sense, which is exclusive to the Lumia 822 this year.

What Data Sense allow is for user to manage their Data use and see what apps are tasking their data. You can set data limits, One time, monthly or Unlimited. give one the exact amount of data you use each time with the limit type. It also helps you search for nearby Wi-Fi locations, to help reduce data usage.  As with other Lumia device the Nokia 822 is packed with a boatload of applications ( Nokia Drive, Maps, Music, Transit, City Lens and More) that will make the users Windows phone experience second to none. My experience with the device has been a pleasant one, with great call quality, stellar 4G LTE service and Nokia featured packed Windows Phone 8 experience. Priced at $99 with a 2 year contract. The Lumia 822 is poised to be the Windows Phone 8 standard bearer on the Verizon network.
