Skullcandy PLYR 2 Wireless Gaming Headset Review
Skullcandy is continuing it gaming tradition, with the Skullcandy SLYR and now the PLYR2 which is a wireless Gaming Headset that comes with a wireless transmitter . Giving you the ability to work with the PS3, Xbox 360, PC & Smartphone. Pivoting Boom mic, with adjustable mic position flips up for instant muting. Three preset Sound equalization settings for games, music, and movies. Like the SLYR, the PLYR 2 delivers a clean sound with a healthy amount of bass that isn’t overpowering, even when using the “Bass Mode” setting on the EQ, presets called “Supreme Mode” and “Precision Mode.” The PLYR2 as a gaming headset is comfortable with some very solid aesthetics- simple it looks stylist, plus it comes in three cool color combination, which you can pick up for just $129.
the main attraction to the for the PLYR2 from Skullcandy is its wireless connectivity on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, via the wireless transmitter. What I like about it is the ease of use and set up. On PC it literally was plug and play. You also have on-ear voice and game controls to give you quick access to getting your sound comfortable. In terms of audio, the headset to a great job in gameplay sound,; allowing you to hear footsteps easily and it sounds great. In terms of music, it does a decent job and handles that well> Overall I like the PLYR2 as a starter wireless gaming set, especially if you aren’t looking to spend upwards of $400 for a premium pair.; so it Skullcandy PLYR2 is a solid buy!!
