Samsung Galaxy S III Hands-on Video: The Future of Smartphones is Here

GALAXY_S_III_Product_Image__3__W_gallery_post  [ad#ad-1] Sorry it took us awhile to give you this, let’s just say there were some technical difficulties.  Here is our hands-on video for the Samsung Galaxy S III. The Samsung Galaxy S III sports a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD (720×1280) display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording and burst mode, 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera with 720p HD video recording, 2,100 mAh battery, HSPA+ (or 4G LTE, depending on the market), and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with the newest version of TouchWiz. It has smooth and non-linear lines, comfortable grip, gentle curves, and organic form delivering a rich human-centric feel and design, which will have colors Pebble Blue and Marble White at launch.

Another feature is ‘S Voice’, the advanced natural language user interface, to listen and respond to your words. In addition to allowing information search and basic device-user communication, ‘AllShare Cast’ users can wirelessly connect their GALAXY S III to their television to immediately transfer smartphone content onto a larger display. ‘AllShare Play’ can also be used to instantly share any forms of files between GALAXY S III and your tablet, PC, and televisions regardless of the distance between the devices.  With ‘S Beam’, the GALAXY S III expands upon Android™ Beam™, allowing a 1GB movie file to be shared within three minutes and a 10MB music file within two seconds by simply touching another GALAXY S III phone, even without a Wi-Fi or cellular signal. The ‘Buddy photo share’ function also allows photos to be easily and simultaneously shared with all your friends pictured in an image directly from the camera or the photo gallery. ‘Pop up play,’ a feature that allows you to play a video anywhere on your screen while simultaneously running other tasks, eliminates the need to close and restart videos when checking new emails or surfing the web.
