Microsoft announces the Lumia 830: Budget Flagship Phone

Lumia 830 (2) Today Microsoft announced the Long rumored Lumia 830, a device it call a budget Flagship. The Lumia 830 and Lumia 730/735 will be the first devices on the market shipping with the Lumia Denim update, also announced today in Berlin. Lumia Denim combines the latest Windows Phone 8.1 update with exclusive experiences for Lumia smartphones. For Lumia devices with PureView technology, the Denim update includes various imaging enhancements that make the camera work faster and more intuitively. Lumia Denim will begin to roll out as an over the air update to all Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones during Q4 2014, following partner testing and approvals.

The Lumia 830 features the best of Lumia and the latest from Microsoft in our thinnest, lightest design, powered by a snapdragon 400 processor and comes with 16GB of internal storage expandable via microSD. Other features include:

o    A 10-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS optics, Rich Recording and our thinnest optical image stabilization system to date.

o    The Lumia 830 will begin shipping globally this month at 330 Euro before taxes and subsidies.
