Lenovo ThinkPad S431 Review: Great Prosumer Ultrabook

Lenovo ThinkPad S431-5[ad#ad-1]The ThinkPad S431 is what Lenvoo likes to call a prosumer ultrabook with pricing starting at $629 and would run you max $859 with a core i7 Haswell processor & AMD HD8670m. Which is pretty nice. The S431 shell combines aluminum and magnesium alloy for both durability and lightness. A single unified hinge adds strength, while also enabling 180-degree opening so the Ultrabook lies flat or rests at any angle. Unique attention to detail like indented sides for carrying add to the eloquent convenience. Black ports and a sandblast finish come standard. Full-sized and spill-resistant, the legendary ThinkPad ergonomic keyboard is renowned for its full array of keys, excellent feel, and TrackPoint pointing device. And now it’s optimized for Windows 8 with convenient multimedia buttons, LED status indicators, function-lock capability, and immediate access to view apps. Plus, a larger, smooth TrackPad with 5-point click integration. Performance and battery life is outstanding, with the ThinkPad S431 getting close to 8 hours of battery life and also being able to handle heavy work loads like video processing without any hitches. The main beauty of this laptop/ Ultrabook, is that it brings, business level efficiency with a more consumer minded approach and it works well here. Plus its current price really doesn’t it from being a great Prosumer Ultrabook
