VIBE X2 (1)[ad#ad-1]Lenovo  today announced at the 2014 IFA Consumer Electronics Unlimited show in Berlin the latest additions to its VIBE line of premium smartphones: the new VIBE X2 and VIBE Z2. The thin and light Vibe X2 makes a powerful statement with its unique tri-layered design, advanced performance with the latest MediaTek MT6595 4G LTE True8Core™ processor and innovative click-on accessories. The Vibe Z2 sets a higher level for sleek trend-setting design with advanced performance and professional-grade photography features. Lenovo VIBE X2: Multi-layered Design, Performance and Accessories for Multi-layered Lifestyle.

The Lenovo VIBE X2, the world’s first layered smartphone, turns heads with its signature, gradient three layer design. Consumers can choose from a selection of four bold colors – white, red, gold and dark grey – to suit their individual style. As the first global handset manufacturer to use the new MediaTEK MT6595 4G LTE True8Core™ processor, Lenovo has designed the VIBE X2 for impressive performance. This processor delivers a hidden layer of performance with powersaving features that help boost battery life, keeping videos, games and photos running longer. Combined with the processor, the smarpthone’s 5-inch FHD resolution display with wide-angle viewing makes using apps, photo and more seamless.

The Lenovo VIBE X2 packs two advanced cameras equipped with multiple shooting modes and beautification features. This technology gives users the ability to capture crisp, vivid photos and video whenever the moment strikes. Users can take effortless selfies with the VIBE X2’s 5MP wide-angle front camera, featuring auto-shutter gesture controls that activate the lens with the blink of an eye or a smile. The13MP auto-focus, rear-facing camera comes with a backilluminated sensor and LED flash to produce sharp, brilliant shots. And with 32GB of internal storage, users will have ample room to store their digital content.

To further personalize and amplify the mobile experience, Lenovo is introducing two new innovative click-on accessories, known as VIBE Xtensions, that work seamlessly with the VIBE X2: VIBE X2 Battery and VIBE X2 speaker. The VIBE Xtension1™ cases add a fourth layer to the VIBE X2’s multi-layer design, immediately extending battery life and cranking up high-fi sound. The ultra-thin (5.1mm) X2 Battery does double duty by protecting the phone while also extending its battery life by nearly up to 75 percent 1, so it can last straight from day to night without having to recharge. The X2 Speaker serves to amplify the phone’s sound when listening to music and watching movies, and comes with a convenient stand for hands-free use and built-in mic for group conference calls.
