So later today during I/O Google will be announcing Google Music, allowing user to store up to 20,000 songs for free and stream them to their Android devices. Much higher than the 5GB offered by Amazon (1,200 songs). Google’s plans to launch the service with label support broke down and According to Rosenberg, “A couple of the major labels were less focused on the innovative vision that we put forward, and more interested in in an unreasonable and unsustainable set of business terms.”

The service is expected to roll out to users in weeks and Verizon Motorola Xoom owners will be receiving Beta invites while other users will have to sign-up via music.google.com
