Asus Transformer T100 Review

2014-02-08 10.28.25-1[ad#ad-1] The Asus Transformer T100 is a great example of Intel’s 2-in-1 talk. Priced at $349 for the 32GB model the Transformer T100 is more than just a tablet or another laptop. its a device that helps you bend both worlds, and makes computing portable. Powered by the new Intel Baytrail processor and packing 2GB of ram, the Asus transformer T100 is a device that is capable of packing performance and functionality in a small package. Now unlike most other 10.1-inch windows tablet, the Asus transformer T100 also comes with a dockable keyboard that has a USB 3.0 port which is nice.

Battery life on the Asus Transformer T100 is impeccable, with about 11hrs of battery life. Given you enough time to work on some spreadsheets, watch a movie or two and then have enough left for some web browser all on a cross country flight. The one aspect I will gripe about the Asus Transformer T100 is also an aspect that makes it work. Asus dug back to its roots as netbook roots in creating the T100. Which is a great feat, in creating a 2-in-1 device that function like a tablet and a netbook. But in its laptop mode it feels more like a netbook and less an ultrabook. which can be a bit annoying, but not serious. I can fully recommend the Asus Transformer T100 as a device that breaks the barrier of portability and productivity, with a device that is both laptop, tablet and all-in-one portable Windows device.

  • Great price at $349
  • Excellent battery life
  • Solid performance with Windows 8.1
  • 2-in-1 device
  • USB 3.0 on keyboard
  • ( Feels too much like netbook)
