Two Geeks are Better than One for Gaming

Are “two heads usually better than one”?
We think so when it comes to delivering compelling gaming devices. That’s why we’re working with Razer™, the world’s number one gaming lifestyle brand. Last November, we announced a global strategic worldwide partnership with Razer at DreamHack® Winter 2015. We’re marrying our high-end design and engineering performance with Razer’s immersive gaming technology and deep community relationships that have earned them their place as the leading gaming lifestyle brand.
We unveiled the first fruits of this relationship here at CES®: the new ideacentre™ Y900 RE (Razer Edition) desktop and Lenovo™ Y27g RE Curved Gaming Monitor (Razer Edition). We purposely made sure the ideacentre Y900 RE echoes the high performance of the current ideacentre Y900, equipped with a quad core 6th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 K-series processor and dual NVIDIA® GTX970 discrete graphics. We also put the Razer Edition styling on the special co-branded edition, bundled it with a Razer Chroma keyboard and mouse, and added Razer Chroma multi-color lighting effects that stand out from the crowd in a pitch black room. We know that many players want to program a full array of multi-color lighting effects, so we gave them the ability to do that – from spectrum cycling and breathing, to static and wave. Razer Chroma offers an infinite degree of customization to make gameplay smooth and fun.
We didn’t stop at great out-of-the-box performance. We made the ideacentre Y900 RE easy to accommodate future upgrade options for those who really like to get under the hood. It has a full ATX motherboard and enough space to expand up to a 1000W power supply unit. The new Razer Edition also includes dual graphics cards, accessible via an easy access push lever that opens a stylish semi transparent side panel – showing off its neat internal cable routing. Better news yet, you can pair the ideacentre Y900 RE with a matching 27-inch VA Lenovo Y27g RE Curved Gaming Monitor. While the deeper most gamers immerse themselves in play, the more competitive they get – the new curved monitor is designed to achieve just that! Once you start nearly any game in a curved monitor, it’s hard to go back to a rigid rectangular screen. The wraparound screen, combined with Razer Chroma lighting on the back for an extended display effect, helps you feel that much more immersed into the gaming world. One of only a few curved gaming monitors available today, the Lenovo Y27g RE Curved Gaming Monitor offers 144Hz fast refresh rates and 8ms response time. An easy lift, tilt or swivel stand and built-in headphone hook also means you can make important minor ergonomic adjustments to suit your personal viewing style.

We’re giving gamers even more ways to customize their gaming experience with a trio of new nperipherals: the new Lenovo Y Gaming Optical Mouse has an improved ergonomic feel and underlitn red LEDs that light up the Y logo and underneath when plugged in. The Lenovo Y Gaming Stereo Headset is lighter than ever, with a retractable noise-cancelling microphone for easy mobility and storage. To pack all your goodies, we recommend the new Lenovo Y Gaming Armored Backpack. It comes with a hard shell design for extra protection and dedicated compartments for your laptop, accessories and more.
