Acer just announced the Aspire S7 series, which includes a 13.3-inch model and an 11.6-inch model, the first in the company’s Ultrabook lineup. ACER Unveils World’s Thinnest Ultrabook with Aspire S5 13.3

ACER announced the world’s thinnest ultrabook, the Aspire S5 is a 13.3-incher that ways under three pounds, offering up Instant On functionality, a magnesium-aluminum alloy cover (in Onyx Black), HDMI / USB 3.0 / Thunderbolt (!) ports and an SSD.  It should ship in Q2 in 2012. other than that nothing else.
