In an effort to streamline my life, I’m always on the lookout for form plus function. Juggling many duties usually means that I end up looking like a bag lady. Yet for those of us gadget folks, you know our list of essentials are not like your everyday Joe. The Linear shoulder bag is perfect for the minimalist, but with hefty capability. If you’re looking for a functional, sleek alternative to backpacks and messenger bags, this is a great find.
Linear has a nice and simple form, portrait style as opposed to a wider looking landscape look. The polyester outer material has a nice texture and feels as lightweight as it’s 1lb. It is easily wearable as a shoulder bag or crossbody style. The strap has a padded shoulder cushion and is easily adjustable. At the top of the Linear you will find a reinforced handle as well as a luggage strap, either of which can slip over a roll bag handle. Now onto the fun part, which would be the compartments. The main compartment for your laptop is padded and water resistant. Two additional compartments can hold your tablet, and smartphones. The front flap unzips to a handy compartment for pens, cards, chargers, and a key-fob to keep your keys safe. The front flap has a convenient side zip compartment for quick access. I managed to fit my laptop, iPad, two smartphones, power bank, pens, keys, business cards easily (of course took up more space). Or with fewer gadgets, it lays nice and flat, without even looking like a laptop bag. All in all, this can hold quite a bit, or as little as you need it to.
