Spigen Tough Armor Galaxy S6 Cases

It pains me to see so many folks with cracked or demolished smartphones. Although I love the look and feel of a device solo, why would you not want it to stand the test of time? Spigen has a great line of cases, of which the Tough Armor case is my favorite so far.

The Tough Armor case has MIL-STD 810G-516.6 military level protection. What does this mean for you? It has been drop tested 26 times from 48 inches high, shock proof tested, and benchmark tested. As with the other cases that I tested from Spigen, each is made of Polycarbonate backing, and anti-stretch TPU shell (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). They fit quite easily together, and have an extra Air cushion technology for shock absorption. Despite its military grade look, the case is actually quite sleek. You can find the Tough Armor case in four colors: Gunmetal, Metal Slate, Champagne Gold, and Satin Silver.

  • MIL-STD 810G-516.6 military level protection
  • Air Cushion technology

  • Inner shock dispersion

  • Dual layer structure of Polycarbon backing and Flexible TPU shell

  • Integrated Kickstand

  • Dimensions 2.99” x 5.82” x 0.47”

  • 2.0 mm lip

I was also able to test drive various other cases by Spigen. The Neo Hybrid Ex is a slim bumper style case, with a protective outer shell that strictly covers the perimeter of your smartphone. It is open at the front and back, so is better for those going for the minimalist touch. This is the sleekest profile, but also comes with a screen protector.

With more TPU coverage, the Capsule Solid case gives more outer layer protection, without the Polycarbonate shell. This maintains a softer look, but still comes with the kickstand for media viewing, and air cushion technology/

The Slim Armor case comes in two versions, with and without CS (credit card slot). This is a slimmer version of the Tough Armor, but with a 1.2 mm raised lip, and curved sides. The CS version comes in four colors, and standard version comes in five colors.

Each of the cases has its own style, but maintains the same sturdy construction. They are very easy to use, unlike some cases that are impossible to remove, or fall apart. The prices range from $14.99 to $39.99 depending on model. Check out their entire line at Spigen.com.
