The Logitech G710+ Gaming keyboard is the latest in the Logitech gaming keyboard arsenal. What you got here is a standard G-series performance keyboard from Logitech, plus a white LED backlight( dual), anti-ghosting tech, under-key dampening to help with all the clickety-clacketing, and a promised 50-million keystroke life span. A set of “G-keys” along the left side allows for assignable macros and scripts The mechanical keys on the G710+ deliver gaming-grade responsiveness and tactile feedback superior to rubber-domed keys, for a very smooth and quieter typing or gaming session. With an actuation force and distance of 45 g and 4 mm, respectively, the keys are optimized for rapid command entry. With three macros per G-key, you can configure up to 18 individual functions per game, including single key presses, complex macros or intricate LUA scripts. All 110 keys of the G710+ are calibrated to prevent anti-ghosting. Press and hold multiple keys simultaneously without fear of missing or unexpected key presses.
The closest addition to me is the dual backlit keyboard. The entire keyboard is backlit in white LED light and adjustable to one of four brightness levels plus “Off”. For better visibility of the WASD and arrow keys, their brightness can be adjusted independently from the rest of the keyboard. Think of this in a gamers perspective, having the arrow keys and the WASD keys being only lit ensures, better gaming performance, as well as the use of the Game/keyboard button that locks off all Windows key shortcuts while gaming. This is a great gaming keyboard with a full feature set, though I wished it had more than on USB port on the keyboard as well audio ports for gaming headsets. Overall a solid Gaming Keyboard and worth the $149.99 price tag
