Lenovo N308 Review: An Android All-in-One PC

N308-1[ad#ad-1]The Lenovo All-in-One N308 represents a cultural shift in the tech industry. Companies are thinking outside of the box in order to find a specific market of consumers. The N308 is an exact result of that trend. Coming with a 19.5 inch HD display, Nvidia Tegra 4 Processor, 72 core GPU, and internal battery component, Lenovo has created a ultimate utility device.

The “All-in-One” tag line encompasses a desktop, tablet, and mobile computing experience. Lenovo has given users a familiar, non-altered mobile experience via the Android 4.2.2 software that runs on the device. Adding to the desktop moniker, its comes packed with 3 USB ports, Ethernet port, and a SD card slots that takes all sizes. The resolution of the display isn’t top of the line, but at 1600 x 900, most consumers will have no problem with the quality or viewing angles. Since the n308 comes with a kickstand, adjusting it to fit personal preference is not a problem.

The added value of a wireless mouse and keyboard enhances the overall experience of the device. Other than the certain app’s not working completely with the scroll wheel on the mouse (Android compatibility issues), usage was surprisingly pleasant to use.

All in all, the All-in-One is an extreme bang for your buck product. With a retail price of only $349, Lenovo is providing the consumer with a lag free, innovative, and new methods of productivity with the n308. The product isn’t for the everyday power user, but for someone looking to purchase a tablet or desktop, I see little reason as to why the Lenovo All-in-One can’t be the product for them.
