Buffalo Gigabit Dual Band AC1300/N900 Router & N450 Media Bridge- Review

[ad#ad-1]When it comes to setting up a consistent wireless network within a home or office, that may seem like a daunting task. I for instance had to setup a router and a wired bridge in order to get wired connects to section of my apartment. I still was faced with wireless dead spots and low grade signals in certain areas of the apartment for my wireless devices. This is where Buffalo’s Gigabit AC1800/N900 Wireless router & AC1800/N450 Gigabit Wireless Media Bridge come into play. Packed with, 802.11ac, latest wireless standard offering speeds up to 3X faster than 802.11n. Operating in the 5 GHz spectrum, 802.11ac offers transfer speeds up to 1300 Mbps, ideal for uninterrupted HD video streaming and concurrent Internet access. With combined speeds up to 1750 Mbps (5 GHz and 2.4 GHz operation), Buffalo AirStation 1750 provides an extremely fast wireless connection, perfect for surfing and emailing from multiple computers, downloading files and streaming music, movies and other HD multimedia content from the Web – all at the same time! Easily connect with your computer, tablet and smartphone devices. I advise you take time to watch the video review. because it showcases the before wiring mess and the after wireless result provided by Buffalo in my case.

Setting up was one of the best and easiest aspects of the both the N900 AC router and the N450 Media Bridge. Buffalo wisely uses an AOSS sync feature that requires the user to setup the router and bridge at their desired locations and by simply tapping the AOSS button on the Bridge first and then syncing on the Router with the same button tap. Snap, Crackle and Pop you Router and Media Bridge are linked an your home network is set to roll. With that easy setup process, I experienced no slowdown in speeds and was able to ensure my home office became a fully wireless center. I would recommend both the Buffalo AC1800/N900 Gigabit Dual band router and AC1800/N450 Gigabit Media Bridge to anyone looing to set up a home wireless network, priced at $118 for the router & $136 for the Media Bridge
