Samsung & Google Postpone Nexus Prime announcement

Looks like something big isn’t coming soon. Samsung and Google have postponed their “Unpacked” event at CTIA on Oct 11th 2011. Which means effectively. They have postponed the launch of the Nexus Prime and Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich. No specific reason were given but both companies released a joint statement to that effect.

Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. We agree that it is just not the right time to announce a new product. New date and venue will be shortly announced.

But, if Eric Schmidt is true to his word, we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer… he did promise us that it would launch by November. We’ll let you know as soon as we get a new date to expect “something big.”
