HTC HD2 getting upgrade to Windows Mobile 7?

I guess this is good news for the windows mobile platform. Though there are no indication of when this could happen or if it will happen. But HTC Russia through a twitter update elude to the statement that HTC  HD2 will be getting an upgrade to Windows mobile 7. This is interesting because, Mobile 7 is rumors for a late 2010 release, which by there there should be newer hardware to run the OS. SO are we getting windows mobile 7 sooner rather than later?

For Diamond 2 firmware is not planned. Of the existing communicators on the market, only the HD2 firmware to get WM7
